“Friendly & relaxing”

This was our second stay at the Bell Rock, following our first visit a year ago, and we have already made a provisional booking for 2013. The hotel's predominant atmosphere is one of quiet, peaceful, relaxing comfort. There is no noise or bustle and any music in the lounge or dining room is kept at a discreet background level. All the staff exude an air of cheerful friendliness, while carrying out their duties with unobtrusive efficiency. The dining room is spacious, light and airy, and the food is varied and perfectly cooked and presented, without the slightest trace of pretentious trendiness. Our room was quiet and well-appointed, and the bed probably the most comfortable that either of us has ever experienced in any hotel.
We would recommend the Bell Rock unreservedly.
