Sadly, Mrs King was elderly, with mobility issues and was accommodated on the 2nd floor, after booking through a travel agent, and being fully booked, we were unable to move her. We are a listed building and can't install a lift. We do, however have lower floor and ground floor rooms, which can be requested at the time of booking that are much more suitable for guests who struggle with stairs. If calling the the hotel direct, we always advise where the room is positioned, and what sort of en suite facilities are provided. This information is also passed on to all travel agents who book through us; to hopefully be relayed to the guest at the time of booking.Friday, 19 June 2009
