I stayed here 27th Aug. to 1st Sept. From the arrival to departure the friendly welcoming approachwas evident in every single member of staff I met and spoke to. Every area in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Although I did not request clean linen and towels daily, I am sure they were changed at the discretion of the housekeeper.Breakfast was full English with a good choice of items. Dinner was excellent every night with soup as well as the stated starters. If you include coffee, this was 5 courses. Food always hot and well cooked. The dining room staff were cheerful, friendly and always polite. Nothing seemed too much trouble.Very convenient for beach, shops, harbour, community and tour bus.Very good value Fudge shop for sandwiches, pasties, pizzas, hot drinks and delicious flavours of ice cream! This is across the road in front of the hotel and around the corner to town beach, where you can sit, eat and watch the boats.The hotel is a listed building and has no lift but does have rooms with only a few stairs to manage.
