A very windy day, and wild seas. The Scillonian III was cancelled due to rough seas.
I went up the Garrison to take some photos.

Lower Moors & Old Town Bay

A sunny but breezy sort of day. Lovely and warm mind, and perfect for a day off :)

Peninnis Dophins

We took a stroll up to Peninnis this afternoon. It was warm and the air was pretty still.
A strange low cloud type of mist rolled over the islands for an hour or so.
Whilst up Peninnis we were lucky enough to see some dolphins just off the shore. They might've been porpoises, but I'm afraid I couldn't tell. There was about 3 or 4 that we could see.
I tried to take a picture on my phone but they were a little too far away to make out very well.
The black speck is the dolphin! Wish I'd had my proper camera with the 20x zoom on it!!

Mist Banks From Garrison

There was a foggy start to the day, but the sun burnt that off giving glorious hot sunshine for the rest of the day.
Mid afternoon though a strange mist bank drifted between the islands. The flights were still able to get in an out though as the land & airport was still clear.
