Winter Weather?!? January 17th 2010
Well, it's January, but it almost feels like springtime here in Scilly! The sun has felt really warm on my face today whilst out for an afternoon walk around the Garrison. It's certainly a far cry from the last couple of week's weather. Although we had no snow like the rest of the country, we had iced over puddles and frosts which is a rare sight for Scilly.
Not long until the hotel re-opens on the 8th February. Just 3 weeks tomorrow! Get booked up now for an early spring break. Hopefully the weather will be as good as the last couple of days?!

Well, whilst most of the country seems to be struggling under the weight of the snow, we have none! It's been pretty cold, and for Scilly standards even more so, with ice forming on standing water, and the odd pipe freezing.
There is a forecast of snow tonight though, so we might wake up to a slightly white scene?! If it does, I shall be sure to take some pictures!

The new year is here... won't be long until we re-open for the 2010 season!
We will be opening on February 8th with a 3 night B&B break at £105 per person. A 3 course dinner will be available at £15 per head payable locally, giving excellent value and flexibility.
